The music is produced by EPIK THE DAWN. An awesome musician out of Cali. I wrote this song after the Aug. 9th shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO in 2014. That was a very powerful moment in history, again, for my people in this country, others around the world and myself. We all have a voice and an opinion on these issues. This is me sharing my voice and my feelings with you.

The song is about mental awareness. Waking up to what is really going on around you what is really happening outside of your fantasy world. I didn't wake up until moving to Seattle in 2012 and so I hope that this can spark the minds in our youth early and wake them up. This can aid them in gaining a better understanding of whats really expected of them and how important being aware of life is. I hope you enjoy.
